There are many advantages to doing counseling sessions virtually! The most obvious advantages relate to easy at-home convenience and increased access, but there are unique counseling benefits to working online also.

If it's hard for you to commit to another engagement, virtual sessions can offer you the flexibility to get it in your schedule. Just because we're busy doesn't mean we should neglect our mental health. 

Another aspect of video counseling is its ability to allow people to open up. Sometimes being in person causes an anxiety of its own and the distance sets a natural comfortability not always there in-person.
