Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a method of counseling that works to engage the motivation of clients to change their behavior.

Clients are encouraged to explore and confront their ambivalence. I work to influence my clients to consider making changes through counseling, rather than explore themselves non-directly. Most people have the tools to fix the problems in their life, but they don't have someone there to help them identify what that is, and how to grow through the process.
